I also made sure to save frequently (and after that the auto-save decided to start working too). I spent 30 minutes recreating the edits, so I guess the practice paid off. and none of my work was saved! For some reason it didn't seem that the autosave was working either. Unfortunately seconds before I was going to try the render button, program hard crashed. I was so happy that I had edited my video and was going to be done in a reasonable time. I only had a few hours to edit and finish before I needed to get to bed for my real job in the morning.Įditing in Premiere was very different than MM and after some trial and error, we were able to generate better effects than I could with MM. I sat down with my wife to simultaneously learn how to use the new software while trying to edit my content for uploading per the schedule on my channel and unfortunately I was behind on time. After going back and forth, I decided to take the plunge and pickup Adobe Premiere ($20 a month). When I took a 45 minute clip to WMM to be edited, it would refuse to load (while loading a 30 minute video just fine). While in the quest for better content, I moved from 720p 60hz to 1080p 60hz and I recorded some content that was rather long. I am a fairly new Let's Player and incrementally I have been trying to up the quality of my content via more editing, resolution upgrades, lighting and more.
